Job summary

Chaigeley School, a non-maintained special school for pupils aged 8–16 with SEMH, invites an experienced KS2/3 Class Teacher to join our Lower School team. You will deliver high-quality teaching across English, Maths and Science, using a creative, nurturing curriculum that reflects our ISHARE values.

You will differentiate work for pupils with ASD/ADHD, plan visits to enrich learning, and work with Pupil Support staff. An Enhanced DBS check is required as part of safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Secure KS2/KS3 curriculum understanding.
• Ability to differentiate work for pupils with additional needs such as ASD/ADHD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across English, Maths and Science.
• Differentiate work to meet pupils' needs and manage behaviour.
• Organise visits and trips to enhance learning experiences.
• Work with Pupil Support staff to support KS2/3 pupils.
