Job summary

Axcis Education in North London is seeking a KS1 Teacher to join a SEND primary in N7. Classes are small (8–11 pupils) and backed by at least three Teaching Assistants, with access to specialist facilities including a sensory room and an on-site heated hydrotherapy pool.

The position is temporary, offering Pay to Scale plus SEN Allowance, and a supportive learning environment focused on active, engaging learning and pupil development.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with KS1 and SEND experience or strong interest.
• Ability to adapt learning to individual SEND needs.
• Comfortable working with Teaching Assistants and other professionals.
• Passion for developing communication, independence and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KS1 lessons in a SEND setting with small groups.
• Differentiate activities to suit individual pupil needs.
• Collaborate with TAs and specialists to support pupil development.
