Job summary

Engage Education is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Barnet. You will support pupils with additional needs 1:1 or in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and participate in a structured SEND programme.

The role offers ongoing CPD training, DBS checks, and a supportive consultant. The ideal candidate has experience with SEND and patience, with a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school or educational setting
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum
• Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions
• Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
• Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEND programme
