Job summary

Axcis Education in London (Morden, Surrey) is seeking a dedicated KS2 SEND Teacher to deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction for pupils aged 7-11 with SEND, ensuring progress toward EHCP goals within the National Curriculum.

The role requires QTS and experience in KS2 SEND; you will collaborate with SENCO, therapists and external agencies, lead small-group sessions, keep detailed records, and contribute to inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• QTS or working towards QTS with SEND qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience teaching KS2 SEND.
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, assessment frameworks and differentiated pedagogy.
• Excellent communication, collaborative and organisational skills.

Position: KS2 SEND Teacher. Location: Morden, Surrey (London). Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 08:00?–?15:30. Salary: Paid to scale.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated KS2 SEND Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community. You will deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction for pupils aged 7-11 with identified special educational needs, ensuring their academic, social and emotional development aligns with the National Curriculum and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess tailored lessons for SEND pupils across all KS2 subjects.
• Collaborate with class teachers, SENCO, therapists and external agencies to develop and review EHCPs.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, behaviour management strategies and progress monitoring.
• Lead small-group and one-to-one sessions, adapting resources to meet diverse needs.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
