Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Harrow is recruiting a KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026 for a long-term, full-time role supporting pupils with mild special needs in KS1 classes.

You will work under the direction of the on-site SENCO and psychologists, with weekly pay and access to CPD training and safeguarding support.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from a relevant degree (Psychology, Health and Social Care, Speech and Language) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Support KS1 pupils with mild needs in class.
  • Assist the teacher with planning and delivering lessons.
  • Support with behavioural and learning strategies under supervision.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Salary: £92.63-£105 per day (PAYE)

Job type: Full time, Long term

Monday - Friday (no weekends)

A mainstream school in Harrow is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to start in September in their KS1 classes class supporting a range of pupils with mild needs

  • Someone who has experience working with students that have special needs, personal experience OR have graduated from a relevant degree (Psychology, Health and Social Care, Speech and Language)
  • Someone who is very patient and understanding
  • Has the initiative and drive to want to help
