Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking an English Academic Coach to support secondary students across KS3 and KS4. You will work with the English department delivering targeted interventions, running small group sessions and providing one-to-one support to build confidence in reading, writing and analysis.

An English degree and clear communication are essential; DBS checks and a proactive, student-centred approach will help you thrive in a Good-rated school in the Ward of Northfield.

Qualifications

• Degree in English (Literature or Language) required.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Desire to work in education with children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted English interventions to KS3/KS4 students.
• Run small group sessions and 1:1 support across English curriculum.
• Assist in lesson preparation and help pupils develop reading, writing and critical analysis.
