Job summary

IBIS London City Shoreditch is hiring for a full-time kitchen role. Eligible to work in the UK, you will prepare dishes, maintain HACCP standards and support both culinary and porter duties.

The position offers training opportunities via Apprenticeship and Accor Academy, plus perks across the Accor network. Hourly wage is £14.80 with benefits including free night stays in UK hotels, restaurant discounts, and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in basic cooking methods and food preparation.
• Ability to work early mornings and evenings.
• Flexible to work 5 days between Monday-Sunday.
• Knowledge in Culinary department preferred.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Team work.
• Time keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items as per standard recipe cards whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing wastage.
• Apply HACCP hygiene standards in food production areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of kitchen and equipment.
• Versatile in the kitchen, supporting both culinary and kitchen porter duties.
• Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety procedures and emergency responses.
• Attend briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management.
• Maintain a professional appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, with a service-oriented approach.
