Job summary

ibis London Docklands Canary Wharf is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support the kitchen in preparing and presenting high-quality meals across breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You will help with mise en place, stock rotation and daily operations while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards. A positive, collaborative attitude and flexibility to work weekends are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is desirable.
• A passion for food, cooking and delivering high-quality dishes.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills through training.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Maintain excellent hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with stock rotation, mise en place and daily kitchen operations.
• Support Kitchen Porter duties to ensure smooth kitchen running.
