Job summary

Stonegate Group is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support and lead the kitchen brigade across our venues. You will coach the team, maintain high standards of food knowledge, and uphold COSHH, Food Safety and H&S requirements while driving performance on the kitchen floor.

You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager, participate in stock control, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to support, coach and mentor your team.
• High standard of food knowledge and skill.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S and legal knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas to improve kitchen performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.
