Heritage Pubs - Stonegate Group Griffin is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to coach and mentor the kitchen brigade, uphold a high standard of food knowledge and safety, and develop the Griffin team.

You will assist with food preparation, supervise in the Kitchen Manager's absence, manage stock and orders, ensure a clean, hygienic kitchen, and contribute ideas to improve performance and guest experience. This role offers flexible working and opportunities to grow within the Stonegate Group.

Qualifications

• Ability to support, coach, and mentor your team.
• High standard of food knowledge and skill.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, and legal knowledge.
• Willingness to develop personally and help progress Griffin brigade.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for guests
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance
• Lead the team to achieve company targets
