Stonegate Group in Griffin is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Kitchen Manager and lead the brigade in delivering high-quality dishes in a busy pub environment.

You will coach and supervise the team, manage stock and health and safety practices, ensure a clean, hygienic kitchen, and contribute ideas to boost performance. This role offers flexible working and an attractive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading and mentoring a kitchen team.
• Strong food knowledge and cooking skills.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety and H&S knowledge.
• Willingness to develop professionally and drive team performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.
