Job summary

Stonegate Group is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support and mentor the kitchen team while maintaining high food standards. You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth operation, quality dishes, and compliance with safety and hygiene requirements.

This role offers opportunities to develop skills and contribute to ongoing improvements in a busy pub environment across our managed sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor your team.
• Solid food knowledge and ability to prepare dishes to spec.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S and legal knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and coordinate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification.
• Supervise the kitchen team in the Kitchen Manager's absence.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean and hygienic at all times.
• Provide ideas to improve kitchen performance and lead the team to targets.
