Job summary

Stonegate Group Griffin is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to drive kitchen performance at Griffin. You will coach and mentor the team, uphold high standards of food safety, and work closely with the Kitchen Manager to deliver top-quality dishes.

You’ll oversee operations in the Kitchen Manager’s absence, manage stock and supplies, and continuously seek ways to improve kitchen efficiency while maintaining a clean, hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• The ability to assist in supporting, coaching, and mentoring your team.
• A high standard of food knowledge and skill.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S knowledge.
• Willingness to develop personally whilst helping propel the brigade forward at Griffin.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and collaborate with the Kitchen Manager.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Oversee and supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist with stock management, ordering and management of supplies.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Lead the team to achieve company targets.
