Job summary

Horse & Jockey in Sutton Coldfield seeks a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef in building a kitchen to be proud of, training great people, and delivering excellent pub dining. You’ll work within the Ember Inns group, focused on traditional pub grub and community values.

You will train and inspire chefs, manage stock and food orders, and ensure health and hygiene standards are met. A path to progression and recognised qualifications is highlighted in the role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering great food.
• Willingness to train and develop team members.
• Knowledge of stock control, food orders and menu execution.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Support with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
