Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC at the Old Gate Inn in Canterbury is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to support the Head Chef, train chefs, and drive kitchen performance.

You will manage food ordering, stock control, and ensure adherence to branded menus, while upholding health and hygiene standards and delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and training chefs.
• Ability to help achieve targets and drive performance.
• Experience with food ordering and stock management.
• Familiarity with branded menus and standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations in a kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your Chefs and Kitchen Team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Support with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

As Kitchen Team Leader at the Old Gate Inn , you will support the Head Chef in building a kitchen to be proud of. You will be the master of the menu with a passion for serving great food and training great people. Does this sound like you?
