Responsibilities

• Washing up and operating the commercial dishwasher.
• Keeping the kitchen, washing-up areas and equipment clean and organised.
• Assisting with the unloading and putting away of deliveries.
• Ensuring stock and deliveries are stored correctly.
• Supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team with day-to-day tasks.
• Keeping work areas clean and ensuring high standards of hygiene.
• Removing waste and keeping bins and waste areas tidy.
• Assisting with general kitchen duties as required.
• Working efficiently to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.
• Taking initiative and identifying tasks that need to be completed.
• Following all food hygiene, health & safety and site procedures.

Salary: £13.00 per hour (£19,240 per annum)

Hours: 33 hours per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30am – 7:00pm

About the Role

Enhance Catering Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join a busy and professional catering team based in the GL7 area of Gloucestershire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and proactive, with a hands-on approach to their work.

We are looking for someone who can think on their feet, take initiative and get tasks completed efficiently.

This is not a role for someone who likes to wait to be told what to do. The ideal candidate will be someone who can see what needs doing and simply get on with it.
