Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Term Time Kitchen Porter at Clifton College, Bristol. You will support daily kitchen operations, clean equipment, run the dishwasher, and help with basic food prep during term time.

Work 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, at £13.17 per hour. The role requires teamwork, reliability and a proactive approach to learning, with full training, protective uniform, and DBS safeguarding checks to ensure pupil safety and hygiene compliance.

What You Will Do

• Clean allocated pieces of catering equipment using correct instructions and materials.
• Run the industrial dishwasher to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Store and dispose of waste correctly in line with mandatory regulations
• Comply with all company and statutory health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all catering areas.
• Handle equipment with care to minimise breakages.
• Ensure all catering equipment is cleaned promptly.
• Assist at special events, sometimes outside regular hours (overtime paid).
• Help with simple food prep when required.
• Report accidents, fire, theft, loss or damage and take appropriate action.
