Soho House is hiring a Kitchen Porter to ensure smooth kitchen operations by cleaning and maintaining cookware, dishes, and glassware. You will support hygiene, safety, waste disposal, and keep back-of-house areas organized.

The role suits reliable, detail‑oriented individuals with up to 2 years in a busy venue. Flexible shifts, weekends and holidays may be required; team spirit and discretion are valued.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue or similar setting.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Flexible to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse and sanitise all kitchen items including pots, pans, dishes, utensils and glassware.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and in line with SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workspaces and storage areas.
• Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately and keep areas tidy throughout the shift.
• Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety policies in line with UK regulations (HACCP).
• Replenish supplies and assist during peak service times.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
