Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation in the kitchen and back-of-house areas. You will wash, sanitise, and maintain a wide range of kitchenware, operate dishwashing equipment, and ensure waste disposal is handled properly.

The role requires reliability, a positive attitude, and flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training and opportunities for career development are provided within a vibrant hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliability, discretion, and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitise all kitchen items.
• Operate commercial dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workspaces.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and keep areas tidy.
• Follow Food Safety and Health & Safety policies (UK HACCP).
• Follow SOPs and cleaning schedules to standard.
• Assist kitchen team by replenishing stock during peak times.
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely.
