Thomas Franks Ltd. in Doncaster is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our established team at a prestigious location. This part‑time, permanent role offers 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with duties including keeping the kitchen clean, supporting chefs with food prep, and operating the industrial dishwasher.

Kitchen Porter Doncaster Contract: Part Time, Permanent
Salary: 13218.40
Hours: 20 per week

A fantastic B&I location, part of a large group, one of the world's leading communications services companies with this location based in Doncaster. Catering for about 400 people daily, we offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and vending options. This location operates Monday to Friday and benefits from good transport links.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Doncaster.

You’ll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.

Key skills:

• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
• Excellent customer service skills
• Great team player
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Can do attitude.
• Organisation Skills.

Knowledge / competencies:

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
