Thomas Franks London is hiring a Kitchen Porter to join our established team in London. This full-time, permanent role involves keeping the kitchen clean, safe and hygienic while assisting chefs with prep and equipment cleaning.

Qualifications

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Organisational skills are important.
• Good verbal English and reading/writing English required.
• Experience in customer or food prep environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen hygienic and safe to high standards.
• Assist chefs with food preparation as required.
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
• Operate the industrial dishwasher and assist with pot washing.
• Support the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in London.

You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.

• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
• Great team player
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Organisation Skills.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
