As our Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment within the kitchen. You will support the kitchen team by ensuring that all equipment, utensils, and cookware are properly maintained and cleaned, enabling the smooth running of kitchen operations.
You will help create a productive and effective kitchen environment by adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a commercial kitchen environment, with a strong focus on hygiene, safety, and organisation. You should possess good communication skills and work effectively as part of a team, always ensuring the smooth running of kitchen operations.
A positive attitude, the ability to follow instructions, and a genuine passion for supporting the culinary team are essential for success in this role.
Previous experience with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols will be an advantage, as well as a Basic Food Hygiene Certification.
