Job summary

Squire's Garden Centres in Cobham is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to support the Restaurant Team. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to drive success, supervise chefs, and ensure meals are prepared and served to the highest standards.

You will manage budgeting and stock, maintain food safety records, and develop the team through training while upholding COSHH and Health & Safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and managing shift coverage.
• Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
• Experience managing food budgets and stock levels.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards in line with legislation.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Supervise kitchen team and passes, with on-the-job training.
• Monitor stock, ordering, and monthly checks; manage budget adherence.
• Record accounting and inventory accurately.
• Support Restaurant Manager to drive departmental success.
