GREAT Garden Centre is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Supervisor for the Grass Hoppers kitchen in our soft play area. You will lead a busy team, own the kitchen operations, and maintain high standards with daytime hours only.

Role requires proven supervisory kitchen experience, strong hygiene and allergen knowledge, and the ability to motivate staff while keeping service smooth and compliant.

Qualifications

• Proven kitchen supervisory experience and ability to lead a team
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and allergen management
• Capable of organising, prioritising and maintaining standards under pressure
• Hands-on, proactive approach with reliable attendance

Responsabilités

• Lead from the front: take day-to-day control of the kitchen and ensure high food quality
• Drive standards: hygiene, allergen awareness and compliance with food safety rules
• Support and develop the team: train, guide and motivate staff
• Quality control: ensure dishes meet required standards consistently
• Kitchen organisation: keep area clean, stocked and efficient
• Manage pressure: stay calm during busy periods, especially weekends
• Continuous improvement: identify ways to reduce waste and raise standards
