Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking a Head Chef for the Cuckoo within the Vintage Inns collection. You will lead a kitchen team, drive high standards, and ensure every dish meets the brand’s quality. This on-site role sits in a pub environment rich in heritage and a warm guest experience.

You’ll manage food ordering, stock, and hygiene while mentoring your team to achieve targets and guest satisfaction. A strong emphasis on safety, training, and consistent service is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a fast-paced pub or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and food hygiene.
• Ability to manage food stock, ordering and menu execution.
