Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a dedicated Part-time Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Cygnet Fountains. Working 18 hours per week across three days with 6-hour shifts, there is potential for overtime.

You will help provide balanced meals, handle basic food prep, maintain kitchen cleanliness and stock control while adhering to COSHH rules. DBS check may be required and career progression is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in providing balanced, appetising meals.
• Perform basic food preparation, cooking tasks & other kitchen duties.
• Wash utensils, dishes and ensure they are stored properly.
• Sort, store and distribute ingredients, check deliveries and assist with stock ordering.
• Maintain personal hygiene and ensure the kitchen is clean & hygienic.
• Handle, maintain and store kitchen equipment in line with procedures.
• Use chemicals in line with COSHH regulations.

Cygnet Group are looking for a dedicated Part time Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Cygnet Fountains.

Working 18 hours per week. 3 days a week (6 hours shifts) with the option for overtime.

Cygnet Fountains offers a flexible mental health rehabilitation service for men including High-Support Inpatient Rehabilitation (Level 2) and Community Rehabilitation (Level 1).

Your Day-to-Day…

• Assist the team in the providing balanced, appetising meals
• Perform basic food preparation, cooking tasks & other kitchen duties
• Wash utensils, dishes & make sure they are stored appropriately
• Sort, store & distribute ingredients, check deliveries and assist with stock ordering
• Maintain personal hygiene and ensure the kitchen is clean & hygienic
• Handle, maintain & store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet procedures
• Use chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.
