Job summary

Bluebell View Care Home is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support high quality meal service in a clean, safe kitchen environment. You will assist with food preparation, stock control and deliveries, working with the Chef to ensure smooth daily operations.

This full-time, days-shift role offers a structured, supportive workplace with opportunities to develop kitchen skills and contribute to resident wellbeing.

About Bluebell View
Bluebell View is an 80 bed care home in Oswestry, Shropshire, providing residential, nursing and residential dementia care. Our dedicated team works together to deliver high quality, person centred care, supporting residents to live with dignity, independence and comfort in a welcoming environment.

• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.
You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.
This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
