Job summary

Victoria Mews Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant in Coventry to support meal preparation in a clean, safe kitchen and assist with deliveries and stock management. No previous experience is required, but reliability, organisation and communication are valued.

You will work alongside the Chef and team in a supportive environment with a clear path for development and a consistent routine. Paid DBS, uniform provided, and benefits offered.

Qualifications

About Victoria Mews Care Home

Victoria Mews Care Home is a 30 bed, purpose built care home located in a residential area of Coventry, West Midlands. Providing residential dementia care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

• Contracted to 16 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.95- £13.45 per hour

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
