Job summary

Bluebell View, part of Care Concern Group in Oswestry, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high quality meals within a well organised kitchen. The role is hands-on, supporting the Chef and team to maintain safety, cleanliness and efficiency during shifts.

You will contribute to meal preparation, assist with deliveries and stock control, and help ensure the kitchen operates smoothly to support residents with dignity and comfort.

Kitchen Assistant

• £14.80 - £15.30 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
