Job summary

Rose Court Care Home in Radcliffe, Manchester, seeks a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to help prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe kitchen. You will support food preparation, stock handling and deliveries, working under the Chef and team to ensure meals meet high standards.

The role offers a stable full-time contract, 35 hours per week, with DBS paid, uniform provided and access to staff benefits. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential.

About Rose Court Care Home
Our 87 bedded home provides residential, nursing and dementia care in Radcliffe, Manchester, supporting older people, people living with dementia and younger physically disabled people. Rose Court is a purpose built home with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, offering a supportive environment where colleagues can develop their skills and make a real difference to the lives of our residents.

• Contracted to 35 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.
You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.
This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
