Job summary

Care Concern Group is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join Chaseview Care Home. The role involves supporting meal delivery, food prep, and stock organisation in a busy, well organised kitchen. You will work closely with the Chef and team to maintain safety and quality in every shift.

This position offers 20 or 30 hours per week, DBS paid, pension, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks’ annual leave based on a full-time contract.

Chaseview Care Home is a 60 bed purpose built care home located in Chase Terrace, Burntwood, just a short distance from Lichfield. The home provides nursing and residential dementia care, supported by a dedicated team committed to delivering high quality, person centred care to every resident.

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.95 - £13.45 per hour
• Contracted to either 20 or 30 hours per week (2 vacancies available)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
