Job summary

Victoria Mews Care Home in Coventry is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. You will support residents with daily living, personal care and mobility, helping maintain dignity and wellbeing in a warm, person-centred environment.

Full training is provided; the role offers a 33-hour week at £12.95–£13.45 per hour with paid DBS, uniform and additional benefits. Previous care experience helps, but training and progression are available for newcomers.

Qualifications

About Victoria Mews Care Home

Victoria Mews Care Home is a 30 bed, purpose built care home located in a residential area of Coventry, West Midlands. Providing residential dementia care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.95- £13.45 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
