Job summary

A leading catering company in Bognor Regis is looking for a kitchen assistant to support back of house tasks. The role includes preparing food and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining hygiene standards. Job description

This is a 37.5h per week (Mon-Fri) term-time role working primarily with our kitchen team, supporting day-to-day back of house tasks, including daily cleaning task & service prep.

Responsibilities
  • Service – prepare food and beverages for guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring that guests' needs and requests are efficiently and effectively addressed.
  • Customer Service – provide excellent service by being attentive to guests’ needs at every point on their customer journey, answering questions and addressing any concerns or issues in a friendly manner.
  • Teamwork – collaborate with all other staff to ensure the smooth flow of operations and support a safe and inclusive working environment.
  • Adherence to Regulations – comply with health and safety regulations and any specific food service or catering guidelines established on location.
  • Cleanliness – maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas. We are looking for someone who can work independently with strong initiative and communication skills, and who demonstrates strong teamwork to provide an excellent customer experience in our restaurant.
