Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers plc in the United Kingdom is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in our kitchen. You will work full-time under experienced chefs while training for a nationally recognised qualification.

No experience required; training provided. Apprenticeship lasts 15 months and includes English/Maths skills, mentoring, and progression opportunities across our brands.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Available to work full-time shifts and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Attend team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly and safely to brand standards.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
• Keep up to date with promotions and new products.
• Complete training modules and e-learning as required.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and company policies.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
