Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers plc is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in a full‑time kitchen role across our UK sites. The program runs for 15 months, combining on‑the‑job training with practical mentorship from passionate chefs.

You will learn by doing, gaining a nationally recognised qualification while contributing to high‑quality food for guests. You will work under supervision, with structured training delivered through work‑based sessions and remote coaching.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; willing to learn as part of a structured apprenticeship.
• 15‑month Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship with on‑the‑job training.

Responsibilities

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and back‑of‑house areas.
• Assist in preparation, cooking and presentation of menu items to brand standards.
• Engage in all in‑house training, e‑learning and workshops as required.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and company policies.
