Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers plc is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in a full-time kitchen role. You will train on the job while delivering high-quality meals under the guidance of passionate chefs across 19 brands and 1600+ sites.

You will gain a nationally recognised qualification, with mentorship, and opportunities for progression within our kitchens as you learn and grow in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Willing to learn and passion for cooking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the team to ensure outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standard.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen and back of house areas.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep and par process.
• Keep up to date with promotions and new products.
• Participate in all in-house training and complete learning modules.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and company policies.
