Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers plc is offering a full-time Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in our busy kitchen. You will learn on the job under passionate chefs, gaining a recognised qualification while helping to deliver great food to guests.

No prior experience is required; we support you to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. The apprenticeship runs over 15 months with on-the-job training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; we can teach you everything.
• Willingness to learn and take pride in cooking.
• Apprenticeship to Production Chef Level 2 over 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Communicate openly with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standards.
• Address guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Set up and close down the department, including stock rotation and prep processes.
• Keep up to date with business information, promotions and new products.
• Complete all training modules and learning activities.
