Connex Education is partnering with a Primary School in Birkenhead to recruit a Year 5 Teaching Assistant. The role involves 1:1 support for a child with SEND as well as helping out providing general classroom support and working with small groups of children with additional needs to boost their learning. We are looking for someone dependable, proactive, and experienced in supporting Key Stage 2 pupils with SEND.
This welcoming two-form entry primary school nurtures curiosity, confidence, and wellbeing through a rich curriculum and strong community ties.
This role runs Monday to Friday (8:30am–3:30pm). The position starts Tuesday 6 January 2026 and is likely to continue long term for the right person.
