TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a confident Key Stage 2 Teacher for a long-term contract in Hull. The role involves supporting KS2 across year groups, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and maintaining high classroom standards. QTS or ECTs welcomed, strong KS2 knowledge and a proactive approach are essential.

The post starts from 2 November 2026, with paid PAYE terms and market-rate daily pay. On-site roles with 3-form entry school environment and ongoing CPD opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching KS2.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for a range of abilities.
• Positive, flexible and proactive approach to teaching.

The school is looking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teacher on a long-term basis from 2nd November 2026. The successful Key Stage 2 Teacher will support year groups across KS2, planning and delivering engaging lessons while providing consistent classroom management and helping pupils make positive academic progress.

The successful Key Stage 2 Teacher will have:

QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2

Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum

The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for a range of abilities

A positive, flexible and proactive approach to teaching
