Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming 3-form entry primary school in Hull to recruit a Key Stage 1 Teacher on a long-term basis starting 2 November 2026. The role involves delivering engaging KS1 lessons, maintaining positive classrooms, and supporting pupils across year groups.

Requirements include QTS (ECTs welcome), KS1 experience, strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum, excellent classroom management, and good communication and organisational skills.

The school is looking to take on a Key Stage 1 Teacher on a long-term basis from 2nd November 2026. The successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will support year groups across KS1, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining positive classroom environments and supporting pupils with their learning and development.

The successful Key Stage 1 Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• An adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
