Job summary

Fred Perry is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Associate for its store in Cannock. You will greet customers, understand their needs through open questions, and relay feedback to designers and buyers to help shape product and service.

The role requires reliable stock handling, till operation accuracy, and a proactive approach to loss prevention. As a brand ambassador, you will keep displays fresh and assist in daily store management tasks, including coverage when managers are away.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store.
• Find out the specific needs of each person that enters the store by using open questions.
• Maintain the feedback loop to designers and buyers by recording and returning customer comments to Store Management.
• Timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
• Be proactive in loss prevention by keeping the stockroom well organised and maintaining proper procedures.
• Re-merchandise displays, point of sale, and select areas of the store regularly so as to maximise product sell through.
• Demonstrate great till operations, cash handling, banking and associated administration.
• Deputise For the Store Manager or Assistant Manager in their absence.
• Inform shop managers of any issues or noncompliance regarding all policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Management.
