Job summary

Fred Perry in Liverpool is seeking a friendly retail assistant to greet customers, identify their needs with open questions, and support the store team with daily tasks.

You will handle cash, maintain stock, re-merchandise displays, and help manage store operations when managers are away. Previous retail experience and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store.
• Find out the specific needs of each person that enters the store by using open questions.
• Maintain the feedback loop to designers and buyers by recording and returning customer comments to Store Management.
• Timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise.
• Be proactive in loss prevention by keeping the stockroom well organised and maintaining proper procedures.
• Re-merchandise displays, point of sale, and select areas of the store regularly so as to maximise product sell through.
• Demonstrate great till operations, cash handling, banking and associated administration.
• Deputise For the Store Manager or Assistant Manager in their absence.
• Inform shop managers of any issues or noncompliance regarding all policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Management.
