Winsearch Recruitment is working with an established logistics business to recruit a Key Account Coordinator in North East Lincolnshire. You will own the day-to-day running of a customer account, coordinating transport, freight and commercial administration.

The role blends customer service, transport coordination and account administration, connecting customer requirements with operations to ensure timely, accurate dispatch and ongoing profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight, logistics, transport coordination or customer account administration would be particularly relevant.
• Knowledge of customs clearance and import/export procedures would be an advantage.
• Strong communication and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Responsabilités

• Customer account ownership: act as main contact, build trusted relationships, manage daily requirements.
• Transport arrangements: coordinate UK and international deliveries, ensuring timelines and requirements are clear.
• Freight and import support: work with operations to keep shipments and customer instructions on track.
• Order fulfilment: coordinate orders with internal teams for accurate, timely dispatch.
• Stock coordination: track stock and resolve discrepancies affecting orders.
• Commercial control: monitor costs, raise/check invoices, track revenue and profitability.
• Customer problem-solving: respond to queries, manage changes and see issues through to resolution.
• Working relationships: balance priorities while collaborating with the wider operation.

Key Account Coordinator - Freight & Logistics

Location: North East Lincolnshire

Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Winsearch Recruitment is working with an established logistics business to recruit a Key Account Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day running of a customer account.

This is a varied position combining customer service, transport coordination and commercial administration.

You’ll be the person connecting customer requirements with the teams delivering them, keeping everything organised, resolving issues and ensuring the account runs efficiently and profitably.

The Role - Key Responsibilities

• Customer account ownership: Act as a main point of contact, building trusted relationships and managing daily requirements.
• Transport arrangements: Coordinate UK and international deliveries, ensuring requirements and timings are communicated clearly.
• Freight and import support: Work alongside operational colleagues to keep shipments, orders and customer instructions on track.
• Order fulfilment: Liaise with internal teams to coordinate customer orders and support accurate, timely dispatch.
• Stock coordination: Keep track of stock information and resolve discrepancies affecting customer orders.
• Commercial control: Monitor account costs, raise or check invoices, track revenue and keep an eye on account profitability.
• Customer problem-solving: Respond to queries, deal with changes and follow issues through to resolution.
• Working relationships: Manage your own priorities while working closely with colleagues across the operation.

About You

You’ll be organised, confident dealing with customers and comfortable balancing operational detail with commercial responsibility.

Experience in freight, logistics, transport coordination or customer account administration would be particularly relevant.

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Knowledge of customs clearance and import/export procedures would be an advantage, but is not essential.
