Hawk Hiring is supporting a premier Sheffield automotive business to recruit a Junior Vehicle Technician for its busy workshop.

You’ll perform routine servicing and repairs under senior guidance, gain diagnostics skills, and keep clear records while working with a tight-knit, professional team.

This role requires around 2 years of workshop experience, NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance, and a full UK driving licence; on offer is a salary between £28,000 and £34,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Around 2 years of professional workshop experience (independent, fast-fit, or main dealer).
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine servicing, scheduled maintenance, and high-quality repairs under senior guidance.
• Developing your skills in diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Working efficiently to ensure high-quality workmanship, minimizing vehicle downtime.
• Keeping accurate records of work completed and liaising directly with service advisors.
• Collaborating with a tight-knit crew of highly skilled technicians in a supportive and professional environment.
