Job summary

Hawk Hiring in the Tunbridge Wells area is seeking a Junior Technician to join a top-rated family workshop. With 2–5 years of hands-on experience and NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent), you’ll work 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts.

A guaranteed base salary of £30,000–£35,000 plus a £4,000 team bonus is on offer, with real growth through mentorship and funded courses. You’ll train under Master Technicians to master diagnostics and advanced repairs, enjoy a generous 30-day annual

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on workshop experience in a garage, fast-fit centre or dealership workshop.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Genuine appetite to learn diagnostics and progress to Senior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, brake overhauls, suspension replacement and core mechanical repairs.
• Shadow Senior/Master Technicians to learn modern diagnostic software and fault-finding.
• Maintain clean Right First Time standards to uphold customer rating.
• Log work orders clearly and collaborate with a friendly service team.
