Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Canterbury is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join a professional workshop team. You will diagnose, service, repair and maintain vehicles to high standards while working in a quality-focused environment.

The role offers a salary of £35,000–£42,000 per year, progressive development, and a supportive team. A full UK driving licence and NVQ2/3 are required, with MOT tester qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT Tester qualification (desirable)
• NVQ level and driving licence are required

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Interpret technical information and manufacturer repair procedures.
• Carry out complex fault finding and provide effective repair solutions.
• Complete accurate job cards, repair reports, and identify parts required.
• Perform tyre fitting and 4-wheel alignment.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.
