Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician in Blackpool, Lancashire to join a busy workshop. You will carry out servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 2/3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, own tools preferred, and have a full UK driving licence. The role offers a basic salary of £28,000–£34,000 per year with overtime and good career progression.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• MOT Tester qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing & maintenance of vehicles.
• Mechanical repairs including brakes, clutch, suspension, exhaust.
• Diagnostics using workshop equipment to identify faults.
• Ensure high workshop and safety standards.
