Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Hull is seeking a hands-on automotive technician for a dedicated workshop, specialising in transmissions and diagnostics. You will learn advanced skills while servicing a diverse range of vehicles and fleet accounts, under mentorship from senior master techs.

You will perform maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs, with a route to long-term career growth. A UK driving licence is required and on-site parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven workshop experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Basic servicing, quick-fit components and mechanical preparation.
• UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and manufacturer schedules on customer vehicles.
• Assist with transmission maintenance and diagnostic work with senior technicians.
• Maintain workshop records and support efficient vehicle turnaround.
• Use diagnostic and air conditioning equipment as part of daily tasks.
• Work Monday to Friday with early finish on Fridays; no weekend work.
