Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a busy Leicester workshop. You’ll service, diagnose, and repair a range of vehicle makes in a modern, well-equipped facility within a friendly, close-knit team.

The role offers up to £42,000 with a potential team bonus, plus pension, 20 days leave, on-site parking, and funded training including MOT licensing and EV/Hybrid credentials. A UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Time-served garage experience and strong mechanical ability are prioritized.
• NVQ Level 3 is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and general mechanical repairs across various vehicle makes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform safety inspections and vehicle health checks (VHC).
• Update repair logs and communicate repair timelines to the service desk.
• Work with a friendly team to ensure right-first-time turnarounds.
