Loungers is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Fossato Lounge, a busy cafe bar. You’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, help the team deliver great shifts, and ensure each dish leaves the pass to a high standard.

This role suits experienced Chefs looking to step up. Expect working with fresh ingredients, a fast pace, and opportunities to grow within a growing hospitality brand across England and Wales. Benefits include tips, staff meals, and 50% discount from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills (prep, cleaning, knife work, hygiene).
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and ensure daily prep and dish specs.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Own your section and manage prep, par, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow allergen processes and ensure kitchen safety.
• Support wider kitchen team and help develop newer chefs.
• Know dish specs inside out and ensure each plate is to spec.
